POLICE officers talked a ‘distressed’ woman down from a railway bridge in Latchford last night.
The emergency services were called to the disused railway bridge over Knutsford Road yesterday, Saturday.
Cheshire Police officers were assisted by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, who dispatched an engine to the scene and utilised a hydraulic ladder.
Knutsford Road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
The woman is now receiving specialist support.
