A MAN has appeared in court charged with a robbery and an attempted robbery in Orford.
An investigation was launched after police were called to a robbery at a convenience store on Gorsey Lane and an attempted robbery at an off-licence on Poplars Avenue on the evening of May 12.
A man was later detained on suspicion of the raids.
Sean Pinder, of Poplars Avenue, has since been charged with robbery and attempted robbery.
The 49-year-old will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on June 10.
