FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a major fire in a large detached home on Burtonwood Road overnight.
Paramedics treated three people at the scene after emergency services rushed to the house following reports of a blaze at 10.15pm which had spread to the roof of the building.
Around 20 firefighters descended on the house after the fire broke out in the garage.
It is unknown what caused the blaze at this stage but investigations are ongoing.
Those inside the property had escaped from the house by the time Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service arrived to extinguish the fire.
The road was closed through the night but has since been reopened this morning.

A police spokesman told the Warrington Guardian last night that the force was dealing with an ongoing serious incident and was unable to comment further at this stage.
