Council to take court action to remove travellers from Longshaw Street
WARRINGTON Borough Council is set to take legal action to remove travellers from land on Longshaw Street.
The authority visited the council-owned site last Tuesday to carry out welfare assessments before serving a section 77 notice.
But four caravans and associated vehicles remain on the site, which is the location of the proposed Bewsey and Dallam Hub.
A court hearing has been listed for 2pm on Thursday at Warrington Magistrates’ Court.
