TWO suspects are being questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries last night.
Police were called at 7.10pm yesterday, Wednesday, to reports of an assault on Windermere Avenue in Orford.
A 41-year-old man was taken to Warrington Hospital by ambulance with injuries which are believed to be serious.
The dog unit and police helicopter helped officers on the ground with the search for the suspects.
Two men, aged 24 and 33, have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and are currently in police custody.
