CAN you give this 'lively lad' a new home?
Six-year-old Champ the lurcher is currently at Cheshire Dogs Home on Knutsford Road.
Staff say he enjoys play time and is looking for a home with someone that will not mind spending lots of time playing ball.
A spokesman added: "Champ has shown to be sociable with other dogs and can get very giddy in play, however, we do not know if he has ever lived with another dog.
"Although champ has shown to be friendly with everyone, we are looking for a home with older children that are used to bouncy, boisterous dogs.
"Champ is a clever lad and knows his basic commands, he can also jump and climb so a fully enclosed garden is a must.
"A sweet boy that just needs a loving new home to continue his training and give him all the care and attention he deserves."
