THE family of a man who has been missing from home for five months have issued a renewed plea in order to get him home for Christmas.

Trevor Farthing was last seen on Marshalls Cross Road in St Helens at around 9.30am on Wednesday, June 21.

Described as being white, 5ft7, of medium build and having blue eyes, Trevor was known to frequent the Bradlegh Road area of Newton-le-Willows.

When last seen, he had a shaved head and was wearing a khaki brown t-shirt and blue denim jeans.

Merseyside Police have since been conducted ‘extensive’ enquiries but have been unable to locate Trevor.

His family have now issued a renewed plea in a bid to find their loved one before Christmas.

In a statement, they said: “Trevor remains missing and as a family we are devastated.

“Christmas is approaching and we really want him back with us – it has been such an upsetting time but we remain hopeful that he will be found.

“It breaks our hearts to think that he may be out somewhere in the cold weather.

“It’d appeal for anyone with any information to contact the police and try to bring Trevor home for Christmas so he can spend it with his family, where he belong.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Merseyside Police on 101 or to call charity Missing People on 116000.
