A LARGE crowd has welcomed the arrival of Christmas in Warrington.
The town's Christmas lights were switched on in an hour-long show in the Old Fish Market in Golden Square today, Friday.
Children's TV favourites Justin Fletcher and Dick Dom were among the stars of the show.
And the cast of the Parr Hall pantomime also entertained the crowd.
While Wolves stars Ben Westwood and Morgan Smith were also on stage.
While the Wirette dancers performed routines.
Guardian photographer Dave Gillespie was on hand to capture the excitement.
