TWO caravans have vacated council land in Woolston.
The authority was made aware of the unlawful encampment, on Hardwick Grange, on Monday.
Council officers visited the site to carry out welfare assessments before serving a section 77 notice on the group.
But the travellers have now left, meaning court action will not be required.
