ARMED police have been out on the streets of Warrington town centre to help provide reassurance to shoppers.
While there is no specific threat in Cheshire, police are out supporting the town centre events this weekend including the Comic Con and Warrington Music Festival.
Armed police are also at the town centre stations.
And many shoppers have even had selfies with the officers while they are in town.

The terror level has been reduced to severe following the terrorist attack on Manchester on Monday.
