GOLDEN Gates Housing Trust (GGHT) has apologised after 'overcharging' around 60 customers who pay direct debit.
The organisation also confirmed measures are in place to ensure there is not a repeat in the future.
A GGHT spokesman said: "Around 60 customers who pay by direct debit were overcharged.
"These accounts have since been adjusted to reflect the overpayment.
"We apologise to all customers concerned and have taken steps to ensure that this does not happen again."
