WARRINGTON Borough Council has started sending out poll cards for the General Election.
Poll cards are due to be sent to every property in the borough.
Residents are being reminded that if they do not receive one, or if the one they receive is not for them, to check that they are registered to vote.
Anyone can vote if they are 18 or over, live in the UK and are a British or Irish citizen, or a Commonwealth citizen.
Only people who are registered to vote can take part in the election on June 8.
Postal votes can also be carried out.
For more information on voting in elections and how to register visit warrington.gov.uk/elections, or call the electoral services team on 442184.
