POLICE have issued a dispersal order for Chapelford Village, starting from 4pm today, Thursday, in a crackdown on bad behaviour.
The order, which will be in place until 4pm on Saturday, has been organised after an increase in reports of anti-social activity in the neighbourhood.
Officers will patrol the area and anybody issued with a dispersal notice must leave immediately or they could face further action.
It gives any constable in uniform the power to order an individual in a public place to leave and not to return for a certain period of time.
Police are hoping to prevent residents from being harassed, alarmed or distressed by anti-social behaviour.
