Firefighters were called to Whitecross Road
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Whitecross Road after a washing machine caught fire yesterday, Sunday.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two fire engines attended the scene shortly after 11.05am.
The fire was extinguished with a hose reel, while a fan was used to bring it 'under control' and remove smoke from the property.
