HUNDREDS of young people descended on Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub to figure out the next step to take in education, training and careers.
Hosted by Warrington Borough Council’s Careers for Young People service, 660 people stepped through the doors in what has been described as a record-breaking year to speak to college representatives and employers.
More than 40 per cent of the young people who attended applied for a job, apprenticeship or course on the night.
Cllr Jean Carter, executive board member for children’s services, said: “We are very pleased the event was so well attended and hope that the young people left the event full of good advice and ideas for their career and education aspirations.”
