THREE fans have been arrested after large scale disorder broke out in the aftermatch of last night's Super League clash between Warrington Wolves and Hull FC.
Police reported a 'large outbreak' of disorder behind the West Stand of the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Dallam Lane, as officers attempted to restore peace.
The incident was reported to police shortly after 10pm and three males have subsequently been arrested on suspicion of public order offences and assault.
Warrington suffered a disappointing loss to their east Yorkshire rivals in a top of the table clash, with the game ending 12-19 to Hull.
A spokesman for Warrington Wolves said the club was aware of the incident and was helping Cheshire Police with their enquiries.
