It was a good win for us at the weekend and i think we showed signs of what a good team we are, but at the moment we still have a lot of things to work on.

Defensively i thought we were really good, and we'll be hoping to improve that energy we had again Salford against Barrow this week in the Challenge Cup.

It was good to see all the new signings play together for once, and it was a relief not to get anymore injuries. I thought we played really well has a team and hopefully we'll build on that. This week at training will be about improving as a team and getting the littles things right, like not giving penalties away which will mean that we have more energy in attack when we have the ball, also completeing our offence sets and getting down there end of the field. That win was a real confidence boost for us and it was something we really needed, and now we have got that boost we can start to play some better rugby. Getting the confience back in the team as been the main focus for us in the last few weeks and its very hard to be confident when your lossing and it can be very hard to get your confidence back. You can see that when players have confidence that they will not give silly penalties away and they will not throw cheap ball away and there passes will be better. Its amazing what a win can do to a team, look at Huddersfeild. Now we have more or less the full team to choose from there is no excuses and we must kick on our season from this great win we had at the weekend, there is no doubt within the camp that we can reach the Grand Final or the Challenge Cup final, and that is our main goal, and there is a great feeling in the camp this week between the players and the coaches.

This week Me, Mike Wainwright and Rob Parker were talking about the old TV programmes we watched as kids, mine was Thundercats and Transformers, Mikes was some really old programme that we never heard of because Mikes 40 so he's before our time, and Rob Parkers said that Gummie bears was one of his favourites and that it was really underrated!!!!! next he'll be saying he watched Care Bears, i think there could be a move from Prop to Scrum Half for him if this gets out. On saturday Mike Cooper Broke is leg really baddly and was put into intensive care, he's a top lad and all the guys at the club wish him all the best and hope he's back with us soon, get back soon Mike. Lets hope we can Get another good win at the weekend and get our names in the hat for the nex round of the Challenge Cup, speak soon, Woody.
