A FLOOD warning is no longer in place in Warrington despite heavy rain today causing problems on a number of residential roads.
Forecasters had warned of a 'supertide' across the country with parts of Warrington near the Mersey estuary on the alert list.
But this afternoon the Environment Agency confirmed the warning for Fiddlers Ferry, Eastford Road, Arpley Bridge, Knutsford Road, Howley, Kingsway North and Westy was no longer in place.
Parents did have to brave plenty of large puddles and flooded areas on their first school run of the new term however as this reader shot from Lymm proves.
