Teen charged over Champions League violence

A 16-YEAR-OLD has been charged following clashes between football fans at the Manchester United v Roma game.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged on suspicion of public order offences at the Champions League quarter final at Old Trafford on last night.

He was one of 16 people charged following fighting between fans.

The youth from Orford will next appear at Trafford Magistrates Court next Wednesday.
