MORE than 50 people have joined Warrington North's Labour party since voters went to the polls on May 7.
The biggest increase of those joining has come in Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft.
"The increase in our membership is great news for the Labour party in Warrington North, showing that many people want to engage in politics and have a real say on the future direction of the party," said Warrington North MP Helen Jones.
"People are keen to help us rebuild, with a view to Labour winning again next time."
Cllr Chris Vobe (LAB - Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft) added: "We are delighted to welcome so many new faces to the Labour party in Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft, who will each strengthen and reinforce our hard working local team."
Mrs Jones is encouraging any Labour party supporters in the constituency to consider joining.
