A FORMER St Gregory's High School pupil needs residents help to achieve her dream of representing her country.
Warrington Town player Katherine McGovern has been selected to play for England Nets at the World Indoor Netball Championships but needs £3,000 to travel with the team to Brisbane in Australia.
The 34-year-old mum to Lucas, aged three, (pictured) said: "I have been playing netball at all levels for the past 26 years or so when my Warrington Town coach Yvonne Sampson brought an opportunity to my attention to try a slightly different variation of netball.
"England Nets is a version of netball that is played inside a high tension netted court where the ball never goes out of play making it fast-paced and energetic and to my surprise and delight I was selected for the squad.
"But the hard work doesn't stop as I now need to up my training and raise the money to help me on my journey to theWorld Championships."
