The Society continues its varied winter programme, recent highlights including brilliant evenings on police photography, underwater photography and the best of nature.
As a result of our lottery award, we have now been able to digitalse all 652 of our valuable lantern slide collection, some of which date back to the 1890s. These have now been preserved and retained as a permanent collection for future generations.
Our annual awards will take place on March 13 at the Gateway Sankey Street. This also heralds the opening of our annual exhibition at the same venue. This exhibition, which includes black and white, colour and digital images, will be open Monday to Friday, March 12-23, from 9am to 9pm. Admission is free.
