WARRINGTON Guardian’s website has been shortlisted for a prestigious media award.
The Prolific North awards recognise the very best of the regional media.
Out of more than 250 entries from across the industry, the Guardian was selected in the News Publication category due to its large increase in visitors to its website and social media pages as well as providing interesting content in an easy-to-navigate format.
It will be competing against Asian Lite and another Newsquest title, the Lancashire Telegraph.
The award ceremony will take place at The Point at Lancashire County Cricket Club on April 30, co-presented by broadcaster Andy Crane and BBC presenter Beccy Meehan.
