The win against Wigan on a very cold Friday night was one of the best wins i have played in since i have played for Warrington.

Not only because i am a Wiganer but because i don't think there will be many teams to take points off Wigan at home this season. Like i said in my previous article 'the game will be won in the forwards' and i thought that it was. Full credit to all the pack for taking control of the game from the start, Wigans forward were none existent I thought. Have no doubt about it, that was a good Wigan team we beat, but we controlled the game from the start so we didn't let there players get involved.

Apart from the serious injuries we got, i think we can be pleased with the start to the season. I thought Vinnie Anderson was awsome, he ran on every blade of grass at the JJB, and i also thought Paul Johnson had a massive defensive game. I thought Adrian Morley had a strong game and he definately made is presence know to the Wigan players.

Back to training Monday, were we will be preparing for the Bradford Bulls, it will be a very tough game at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, we need to control Sol'amona and Shantane hape from the start of the game, i feel these are there 2 main danger men for them, so it doesn't get any easier for us does it? I hope that the atmosphere will be just as good as it was on Friday, the Warrington fans did there selfs proud and it felt really good to see and hear you all there.

I hope we can get some momentum going now and get some wins under our belts, its important that we start strong this year by winning our games, even if they are scrappy. It will take a couple more games yet before you see the best out of the players, but i''m sure you'll agree it's looking very exciting.

Speak again soon, Woody.
