CHESHIRE Fire Cadets are currently looking to recruit volunteers to help run a number of units in Warrington.
With around 350 cadets, aged 12 to 17 across the county and 100 adult volunteers, the Cheshire group is the largest voluntary fire cadet scheme across the country but need more volunteers.
Nick Evans, Cheshire Fire youth and community cohesion manager, said: “If you spoke to any of our volunteer cadet staff they would tell you they do it because they love it.
"They enjoy the fun, friendship, action, adventure and practical activities the fire cadets provides and making a real difference to young people in their community."
No fire service experience is necessary but volunteers are asked to give up one evening a week.
