WARRINGTON fell silent on Sunday for the annual Remembrance Day service.
Large crowds gathered at the Cenotaph on Bridge Foot for the service.
Other services were held across Warrington including Penketh, Stockton Heath, Walton and Lymm.
It was especially poignant with the event marking the 100th anniversary since the start of the First World War.
A smaller service will be held in the Old Fish Market on Tuesday morning at 11am, with a one minute silence.
