POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Brick Street this morning that saw a 23-year-old man taken to Warrington Hospital.
Officers say the crash happened next to the Cockhedge roundabout at 9.15am today, Tuesday.
It is believed that a dark-coloured Vauxhall Insignia was involved in a collision with a white Volkswagen Polo.
The driver of the Insignia, a 50 year old man from Liverpool, was uninjured.
The driver of the white polo, a 23 year old man, was taken to hospital following the collision, where his condition is being assessed.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision to contact them on 101 quoting incident 152 of 28/10/2014.
