A MARATHON man from Orford has taken on a challenge to run 170 miles in just three days to raise money for prostate cancer as his dad recovers from the disease.
Kenny Albinson, aged 29, of Woodcote Close, completed the ‘ultra-marathon’ on Tuesday.
It covered the Way of the Roses cycle route which is usually completed by people riding bikes.
The ambulance service worker was raising money for Prostate Cancer Research after his dad, also called Kenny, aged 56, was diagnosed last year.
Kenny said: “It’s looking like my dad will make a full recovery, so I thought I’d try and raise some money by seeing what challenges are out there.
“I’ve done obstacle courses like Tough Guy before, but this was my first ultra-marathon, so it was really hard.”
