ITALY is the next stop for a group of talented dancers from StagePro Academy, who have secured a place in the England Team in the next competition in July.
The hard work of Heartbeat Dance Team and duo partners Emily Edwards, aged 14, and Tumelo Moniwa, aged 17, paid off when the dancers competed in the All England Street Dance Championships last weekend.
The Heartbeat Dance Team, comprising of Chloe Beckett, Emily Edwards, Emily Bain, Shaunagh James, Fallon Hopper and Heidi Reiding, achieved fourth place in the over 16s advanced team category Emily and Tumelo were awarded third place in the over 16s advanced duo category and will also compete in the World Dance Championships in Germany in September.
StagePro director Shane Edwards said: “Both are fantastic achievements and they head off to Rimini in Italy in July where they will compete against Europe's best dancers.”
