THE lives of more than 100 troubled families in Warrington have been turned around in the first two years of a government initiative, according to the latest figures.
The Troubled Families Programme aims to get children off the streets and into school and supporting people to get back to work.
In March, 345 families were identified as in need of help and by the end of the month 304 families had received help from the programme.
120 families have seen their lives turn around for the better since the programme began.
