ARMED with bucket loads of paint and brushes, staff from the Golden Gates Housing Trust teamed up with Lloyds Banking Group in Warrington to makeover two vacant properties in Orford.
Each team was given a budget of £250 by GGHT, who own the flats, with the properties given a new lease of life with fresh paint, wallpaper, curtains and some furniture.
Lloyds call centre worker, Brian Spruce, who swapped a day at his desk for decorating, said: “It has been great to get out of the office and give something back to the community.
“I think whoever decides to take up this property will be in for a real treat.”
