WIRED young carers service is hosting an open day to raise awareness of the support available to carers.
The service will also be raising money to fund activities and trips for young carers and young adult carers.
Clr Pat Wright, executive board member for health, wellbeing and adult services, said: “Many carers do not regard themselves formally as a carer, but just to be getting on with looking after a relative or friend as others would do in the same situation.
“We hope we find some hidden carers on the day as well as raise vital funds for future activities and trips.”
The open day will take place on Saturday, March 22, at the offices on Sankey Street from 12pm.
