THE car park on John Street will close on Friday to coincide with the new car park at Golden Square increasing its capacity to 850 spaces.
The John Street car park was set up by the Golden Square management in the summer to provide shoppers with 400 spaces while the old multi-storey car park at the shopping centre was demolished and the new state-of-the-art car park was built in its place.
Opening hours for the new Golden Square car park are 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 6pm on Sundays.
