YOUNG people in schools across Warrington have been learning about the dangers of running away from home thanks to the work of a Warrington charity.
For the past 12 months, The Relationships Centre has been actively involved with secondary schools in the town, delivering workshops on the dangers of running away.
The workshops were arranged through an initiative called TalkDon't Walk, which was delivered by The Relationships Centre after it successfully secured funding from Awards for All.
TalkDon't Walk provides support, advice and information to young people who have run away from home in the Warrington area.
Around one in nine young people in the UK will runaway overnight before the age of 16, many due to serious and often long-standing problems.
Marissa Hankinson, spokesman for The Relationships Centre, said: "We cannot do this without funding and a big thank you goes to Awards for All for allowing us to carry out this work.
"We have had very positive feedback from the children themselves, as well as parents and teachers."
If you would like to support The Relationships Centre, text TALK and your name to 88999. The charity will then receive £1.50 as a donation.
