ARSONISTS are thought to have started a blaze in the playground of Ravenbank Primary School in Lymm.
Firefighters were called at 4.20pm on Sunday and found a ‘well-developed’ fire involving a wooden outbuilding at the back of the school on Pepper Street.
A Cheshire Fire spokesman said there had been some damage at the back of the school due to ‘radiated heat’ but the council has confirmed pupils were in school as normal today.
Police also attended the incident.
