ED Sheeran has announced two dates at Manchester Arena as part of his October tour.
The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling, Madison Square Garden conquering singer-songwriter right, will be in the city on October 27 and 28.
The 22-year old’s debut album ‘+’ entered the UK album chart at number one with the highest opening week figures for a debut male solo artist.
Ed was even hand-picked by filmmaker Peter Jackson to write and record I See Fire for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
He said: “I can’t wait to tour this new record, it’s been a long time coming. Looking forward to touring the UK and Ireland once again.”
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday from www.edsheeran.com and other sites.
