CULCHETH residents can give blood today, Thursday, at the Sports and Social Club on Charnock Road between 2pm and 4pm and 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
Nationally, 7,000 units of blood are needed every day by hospitals to treat people suffering from a range of injuries and illnesses, including cancer.
