POLICE have recovered valuables from a drugs baron currently serving nearly 10 years in prison.

Leon Cullen, aged 28, of Westbridge Mews, Paddington, was jailed for nine years and eight months at Warrington Crown Court in March last year.

He imported large weights of cocaine into the town, and to other parts of the country.

At Chester Crown Court last week an order was made to sell his Rolex watch, seized by police. It is worth £6,000.

Cullen made more than £655,000 from the operation, with £28,380 now recovered.

Following the hearing, DC Paul Cottrell said: “This should serve as a warning to others that crime really does not pay.

“Enquiries will continue to identify and locate criminal assets belonging to the above person.

“Until they repay the full amount the confiscation order will hang over them.”
