CUSTOMERS at Ikea Warrington collected £34,541 to help children around the world get the education they deserve.
The money was raised as part of the company’s annual Soft Toy Campaign which raises money for UNICEF and Save the Children.
Ikea Warrington also took part in the Give Twice initiative, which enabled customers to donate their newly bought toys to local charities by dropping them into special donation bins within the store.
The toys were donated to the Children’s Society Warrington and donations were also given to Life After Loss, which offers support and guidance to parents who have lost a child.
