CHAPELFORD homeowners have been calling on the council to install more bins around play areas on the estate or empty the existing ones more regularly.
Residents have claimed bins are often overflowing with rubbish.
Sharon Walls, from the council, said: “The council has not yet adopted many of the public bins in Chapelford and they remain the responsibility of the developer or private landowners.
“We will be looking to adopt the existing bins and install new ones around the estate.”
