A MAN was viciously attacked with a knife and metal bar by two thugs in Orford.
The 50-year-old victim needed nine stitches for a leg wound following the beating, on Poplars Avenue, at 10.40pm last Monday.
He was attacked across his legs and back.
A spokesman for Warrington police said: "A white vehicle was also seen in the area at the time and it is believed the two men escaped in this."
The offenders are believed to be in their early 20s and spoke with Liverpool accents.
The first attacker is described as 5ft 11ins tall and was dressed all in black.
The second man was 5ft 8ins tall and also dressed in black.
