A RARE sighting of Father Christmas on his sleigh is set to draw the crowds to town.
He will be arriving in style on Saturday, November 24, from 11.15am and will travel along Buttermarket Street from New Town House to The Guardian statues.
He will then get out and chat to the crowds as he makes his way to Warrington Market where the Mayor of Warrington Clr Steve Wright will officially open his grotto.
The grotto opens from noon to 4pm on the opening day.
He will return on Saturdays December 1, 8 and 15 between 10am and 4pm.
Then during the week before Christmas Father Christmas will be in the grotto from 10am to 4pm from Monday, December 17 to Monday December, 24.
The price for a visit is £3 including a present. Funds raised from the charity run grotto will go to Warrington Disability Partnership.
