Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has revealed she has had a miscarriage at seven weeks.
The 43-year-old TV star recently confirmed she was expecting her third child with former fiance Alan Thomason.
Westbrook has also said that she miscarried a baby last year when she was in a relationship with George Arnold.
Westbrook told The Sun Online that the latest was her fourth miscarriage in total, and that she was “so looking forward to having a baby this time”.
She said: “I was last year, but this time most definitely because I thought, I’m 43, nearly 44 – there’s no way I’m going to get pregnant again.”
“There was always a chance I was going to miscarry because since I’ve had lots of problems since my daughter, who is 16, was born by an emergency C-section,” she said in a filmed interview.
“Something went wrong with the C-section and four days later the whole inside of the stitches came open and my intestines pushed out and so I got rushed into hospital.
“They put it all back in and I was stitched up but ever since then I’ve never been able to carry.”
The former Celebrity Big Brother star added: “Last year I was with George I had a miscarriage, and I was heartbroken.
“I got just over three months of that one, and this one I got to seven weeks.”
Westbrook, who is a mother to daughter Jody and son Kai, said she does not think she will try to have any more children.
The actress, who has had a high-profile battle with substance abuse over the years, said she is not taking drugs currently.
“I’m not partying, I’m not even drinking, most of the time I drive,” she said.
