THE Malibu Games comes to Liverpool next week with a series of challenges, designed to put both the mind and body to the test.
Competitors will race through a series of obstacles, testing the limits of their skills and teamwork, in a bid to reach the winner’s podium.
For five days of summer fun, Liverpool’s Great Baltic Warehouse will be transformed into a tropical island paradise, featuring three unique gaming zones.
Contestants will have their balance, speed and tenacity tested, as they battle with tropical-themed games in order to gain the most points.
These include the ‘Not So Coconut Shy', where gamers must scramble to collect as many coconuts as possible, and the exhilarating ‘Strawberry Sprint’, where contestants must leap across fruity podiums, whilst dodging giant swinging strawberries, avoiding the ball pit below.
In the final dash for top spot, teams need to work together in the ‘Passionfruit Prism’ by collecting purple tokens in a race against the clock to guarantee their place on the leaderboard.
After battling it out at the games, teams will be able to unwind in the Malibu Beach Bar.
And for those who don’t fancy competing, they can still pop into the bar any time without booking and watch all the action from the viewing gallery.
