THERE wasn't enough to build a snowman or start a snowball fight but for some at Knowsley Safari Park the falling snow has proved a novel piece of entertainment.
The wildlife reserve has shared footage of the snow falling around its animals including Amur tigers.
The video shows tigers, deer and kiang, a species of wild ass native to Tibet, in their newly snow-covered habitats.
The 550-acre park is home to more than 700 animals from giraffes, rhinos and lions to baboons and bison and recently welcomed Amur tigers into a new 10,000 square metre home.
