A WARRINGTON bar is hosting a raucous rock and roll twist on Stars in their Eyes for its New Year’s Eve bash.
Old Town House's competition will be like a cross between karaoke and a live gig with participants backed by a full band for the songs they choose.
The Buttermarket Street venue will select 10 people to perform on the night from those who enter with a £100 cash prize for the winner.
Those who don't fancy performing can just come along, enjoy the party and support their friends but there is a £5 entry fee.
A music themed fancy dress code is also being encouraged.
Jen Burgess, from Old Town House, said: "Think karaoke with a live band, some excellent costumes, a fabulous host plus prizes for the winners and a guaranteed fun night.
"Hopefully everyone gives it some welly and most importantly, has a good time.
"I know our regulars so I’m not expecting to be disappointed!
"We shall finish the competition before midnight, give everyone a chance to relax and get ready for the countdown and then our house band will see us into the New Year with a number or two."
The Old Town House New Year’s Shindig is from 7pm on Monday.
Tickets are £5 and can be bought at the pub in Buttermarket Street or online at oldtownhouse.co.uk/tickets
To apply to be one of our performers send an email to oldtownhousewarrington@gmail.com with the email title 'Tonight Matthew OTH' plus your name and contact number and song of choice.
