FORMER Kaiser Chief Nick Hodgson will be playing his first Manchester solo gig next month.
Nick was one of the founding members and chief songwriters for the Leeds band before he parted ways with Ricky Wilson and the gang in 2012.
Since then he has penned hits for Mark Ronson, John Newman, Hurts and many more.
Nick’s tour, including a date at the Deaf Institute on April 18, is in support of his first solo album, Tell Your Friends, and he might just dust off a few Kaiser classics as well. All the tracks were written and recorded at Nick’s home studio in London in the summer of 2017. It was produced alongside Dave McCracken, who Nick met on the Ivor Novello judging panel.
Dave has previously worked with the likes of Ian Brown and Depeche Mode. For tickets visit gigsandtours.com or seetickets.com
