REVIEW: Comedy Club By Nicola Priest THE Comedy Club came to The Park Royal Hotel, Stretton, last Friday night with its first monthly event.
The evening, which was hosted by Wire FM’s Pete Pinnington, kicked off with comedians Tim Clark, Anthony King and John Newton.
Guests enjoyed bangers and mash and bread and butter pudding before the fun began.
Host comedian Tim Clark started the evening hilarity with observations on family life while Anthony King’s droll, deadpan humour had the audience in stitches.
John Newton was a bit nearer the knuckle with a few non-PC jokes which were well received by the audience.
It was a great night and for those who wanted to carry on the evening there was a disco as well.
The next comedy night is on Friday, March 2.
