Dear Opinion,

With Russian vodka subject to "boycotts" due to Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine in 2022, surely now is the time for Warrington’s much-missed "Vladivar Vodka - from Varrington" to make a welcome comeback to our stores and supermarket shelves!

The vodka distillery which formerly stood on Loushers Lane could be rebuilt in the town centre, with vacant land at a premium, which is currently growing weeds!

Vladivar Vodka could provide essential war funds for Ukraine’s battle against Putin’s tyrannous regime, support Warrington’s East European community alongside Polish vodka, and give some welcome headlines to Warrington itself!

A "win/win" situation, and something to be proud of!

Our town needs a boost like this!
