MCLAY Eric The funeral took place of Eric Mclay aged 91 on 28th April 2022 at Walton Lea Crematorium. Born in Bewsey, he was a proud Warrington, he was taught at Bewsey School and on leaving school, started work at Lockers. In his younger days, he played rugby league for Bewsey Towers and also Cadishead. He was a lifelong Warrington Wolves supporter. He served in the East Lancashire Regiment in Egypt and Sudan. For many years he worked as a bus driver at Warrington Corporation Transport before he started work at the Royal Mail where he received a long service award on his retirement. He was a dedicated family man and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. All donations to the British Heart Foundation.
